Join Tiffany Sarkissian, CheeryChats Founder and Julie Middleton, CheeryChats Art Educator for Beyond the Canvas: Art, Artists & Their Stories! Participants will discover that great works of art are more than beautiful objects—they are windows into history, culture, personalities, and the fascinating stories behind their creation.
We will explore selected masterpieces, uncover the artists and people connected to them, and discuss what makes each work meaningful. Participants will be invited to look closely, share observations, recall memories, and connect the art to their own experiences.
Beyond the Canvas
This class is designed for curious minds who enjoy art, history, storytelling, and conversation. These session are centered around looking at images of the art. No previous art experience is necessary. Together, we’ll look beyond what is immediately visible to uncover the people, places, history, emotions within these masterpieces.
